North Lantern Studio Apps operates Loresca, an AI character chat and interactive storytelling app. This policy describes information processed when you use the app and how to contact us about your information.
We process account identifiers and, when supplied by your sign-in method, your email address and profile information. A guest session also has an account identifier. We process your selected language and settings, characters, Persona details, messages, conversation memories, favourites, uploaded reference images and files, generated pictures and audio, and reports you submit.
We also process credit usage, subscription and purchase status, and technical information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service, such as request identifiers, errors, timings and model usage. Google Play handles payment details; Loresca receives purchase and entitlement records rather than your full payment-card information.
This information supports sign-in, saved stories, personalisation, character creation, AI replies, image and voice generation, account synchronisation, usage limits, purchases, support and abuse investigation.
Necessary prompts, character details, conversation context and selected media are processed by cloud and AI service providers to deliver the feature you request. These include Google/Firebase, OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to, Atlas Cloud, BytePlus and Runware, depending on the selected feature and service configuration. Processing may occur outside your country. Providers have their own retention and security practices; we do not promise that every provider has zero retention.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card details or private information that you do not want these services to process. AI responses are fictional and may be inaccurate or unexpected.
Choosing to publish a character makes its published character information and cover available to other users. Your private conversations, Persona and memories are not published with that character. Other users' existing stories are separate from your account; removing a character does not erase their conversations or all copies they may have saved.
Account information and saved content are kept to operate your account and provide access to your stories and creations. You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting hello@northlanternstudioapps.com. We verify that a request concerns your account before acting on it. Limited transaction, security, deletion-progress and dispute records may need to be retained separately. Security records may also prevent a deleted account from being recreated by an unfinished request. Third-party providers' retention is governed by their own practices.
Loresca is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate.
We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Changes to this policy will be posted with an updated date.
